It was a pleasure for the Mama Africa Foundation to participate in the St John Brebeuf Church Fair sponsored by the Social Justice Committee. Denise Roig and her colleagues were formidable, casting an aura of care and concern for all. They also provided a tasty lunch and beverages throughout the day for all of the fair trade vendors.

The Harbinger Foundation yesterday awarded Mama Africa Foundation, in collaboration with ZimArt in Trust, $5,000 to support a drip-line irrigation system at the Bonda Art and Craft Centre (BACC) community vegetable garden. BACC had requested aid to support a water project to enable development of a sustainable community garden to provide food for orphaned and vulnerable children and care-givers.
